I started CrossFitt in July 2012 when a friend finally talked me into it. I had been wanting to try CrossFit for a while but was intimidated by it, so i shied away from it. Growing up, I played competitive soccer and post soccer career I was missing the competitive outlet in my life. After about a week into CrossFit I was hooked. It allowed me to be competitive but in a different more fulfilling way, as it was me against me and it all depended on how hard I pushed myself. Prior to CrossFit, I played soccer for 13 years; competitive traveling from age 10-18 for Napa and Marin FC, 4 years of varsity at Napa High, and a year at Solano Community College. I decided to get my Level 1 in December 2013 so I could help and inspire more people the same way I
was. My favorite part of coaching is seeing my athletes achieve things they thought would be impossible whether it’s finally lifting that number they’ve been chasing or getting their first muscle up or even something as small as a 3 second PR on Fran. Seeing other athletes put in the necessary work to get better keeps me inspired as well.
